Mid-February Report
Great momentum two weeks into the fund-raising season!
In just two weeks, supporters have generously stepped up once again this year and contributed to this campaign. This allows us to start the process of registering for races and secure housing for the season, but we still have a ways to go!
Please consider donating through my GoFundMe page or mail a check to P.O. Box 5928, Annapolis, MD 21403
Last week race registration opened for this upcoming season in France. I plan to open this season in May with a 500 nm solo race starting from and returning to La Trinité-sur-Mer, where Terminal Leave is currently located. The second race will be a sprint, 220 nm solo departing from Douarnenez close to shore in challenging waters. The third race will be 600 nm double-handed from France to the Fastnet Rock off Ireland’s coast and back. The final race this season will be 2,600 nm in two stages from France to the Azores and back. This major race will take me over 800 nm west of Portugal into the Atlantic Ocean!

This week I will be heading south with U.S. Patriot Sailing. We are taking the Annapolis based Melges 24 on the road to St. Petersburg, FL for the Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series. The goal is to support veterans through competitive racing while continuing to raise awareness for the organization in a high profile event. I look forward to representing U.S. Patriot Sailing out on the race course.
Thank you for your support!
