Have you listened to my interview with Andy Schell on his “On the Wind” Podcast?
In August 2021, Jane and I completed a 350 nm delivery on Terminal Leave from La Trinité-sur-Mer, France to Kinsale, Ireland. As we approached the harbor, Andy Schell was departing with 59° North on his Swan 59 ICEBEAR to Sweden. Previously we had messaged each other ahead of the delivery, so it was exciting to pass in person. Andy yelled out about getting me on the podcast and we both continued along our separate ways.
Earlier this winter, we finally linked up again virtually. This podcast was a great opportunity for us to finally sit down and discuss my mission to race in the 2023 Mini Transat.
